The Digital Dependence Index (DDI) is an interactive research platform developed by the
University of Bonn's Center for Advanced Security, Strategic and Integration Studies (CASSIS),
in collaboration with the Vodafone Institute as an industry partner. Covering 51 countries, the platform explores global digital dependencies across hardware, software, platforms, and
intellectual property, providing data-driven insights into the evolving landscape of digital autonomy.
