Policies
While Peru did not introduce many new digital dependence-related policies between 2020 and 2026, its government emphasized the sphere of cybersecurity. A 2024 framework initiated the integration of dedicated cyber units within the Peruvian Armed Forces. By mandating a direct, localized security architecture for its defence sector, this decree is purposed to reduce the country’s vulnerability and dependence.
